Rubio to Newsmax: I Won't Be the VP Nominee

Sen. Marco Rubio tells Newsmax it is time for Republicans to rally behind Mitt Romney for president because he is all but assured of winning the primary and a floor fight at the convention would be a “path to defeat” for the GOP.

The first-term Florida legislator also says Romney will govern as a conservative president and offer a clear alternative to President Obama’s “record of failure.”

And despite speculation that Rubio will be on the ticket in November, he declares point-blank: “I am not going to be the vice presidential nominee.”

Rubio previously served as speaker of the Florida House and won his Senate seat in 2010 by easily defeating his Democratic opponent and Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, who ran as an independent. Rubio is a leading figure in the tea party movement, and he announced his endorsement of Romney on Wednesday.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Sen. Rubio was asked if it is time for other Republicans to accept Mitt Romney as the GOP presidential nominee.

“I believe it is,” he says. “I would never ask anyone to get out of a primary. I think Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul have a lot to be proud of in terms of the contributions they’ve made to this movement.

“We’ve had a very spirited primary. The turning point for me was that the candidates in the race, the two other [leading] candidates in the race, have both publicly said that they now admit their only path to victory is a floor fight in Tampa in August, and I think that with so much at stake in this election we can’t afford a floor fight in Tampa."


“If that’s their path to victory, that’s a path to defeat, and so now is the time to say let’s begin this campaign against the president, because this election is truly consequential beyond any words that I can use to describe it.

“Both Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are both basically saying they can’t win the primary. I do think a floor fight would be catastrophic. There’s no way you can have a floor fight in August and then turn around and win in November.

“I think they have every right to continue to run but I do think the primary is over. The question now is the process by which we’re going to arrive at our nominee. I think Mitt Romney has earned that place where he’s at right now.”

Asked if he would step aside if he were in the same position as Santorum and Gingrich, Rubio responds: “If I were in a position where I knew that the only way for me to win is a way that would ultimately contribute to my party’s loss, I would consider strongly not continuing down that road.”

Rubio elaborated on why he has decided to support Romney: “In addition to the fact that I think any of our candidates would be better than Barack Obama, I think he’s the one who’s going to win the primary. He’s going to be our nominee, and now’s the time to start rallying behind the nominee and beginning the case against the president’s last four years.

“This election has to be as much about the president’s record as anything else. It’s a record of failure. Under Barack Obama every facet of American economic life has gotten worse. Gas prices are up. The deficit is up.

Unemployment is up. The economy is not growing fast enough.

“That’s this president’s record, and the American people have a choice: Do we want four more years of that record or do we want an alternative? And I think Mitt Romney offers a very clear alternative.”

Romney has struggled to win the support of conservatives, in large part because of Romneycare, and some conservatives have accused him of flip-flopping on the issues. But Rubio says he is confident a President Romney would govern as a conservative.

“First of all I think it is where he is as a person and as a candidate,” Rubio explains.

“Second, we’ve had a very spirited primary and one of the advantages of having a primary like the one we’ve had is that Governor Romney and all the candidates have had to take very specific positions on specific issues, for which they will be held accountable throughout the campaign and as they govern as president.

“And third, because I just think he is head and shoulders above what we have right now in the White House. He is certainly more conservative than Barack Obama, which of course is not a very high standard. He will govern as a conservative president, and if we can team that up with a Republican conservative House and a Republican conservative Senate, I think we can finally start to address the major issues our nation is confronting.”

To win over more conservatives, Romney “needs to continue to offer a very clear, compelling, inspirational conservative alternative to the direction Barack Obama wants to take our country,” Rubio adds.

“What is that alternative? It’s a full embrace of the American free enterprise system. It’s a full embrace of the United States being the strongest military and diplomatic power on the planet. It’s a full embrace of the notion that what makes our nation great is not our government, it’s our people, and the job of our government is to make it easier, not harder, for our people to grow America’s economy.”

Rubio discusses why he is not interested in seeking the GOP vice presidential nod: “Because I’m focused 100 percent on my job in the Senate. I ran to be a United States senator not because I was looking for a platform to run for something else. I ran to be in the Senate because I thought that from here I could help take on some of the issues we’re facing, and I’m very happy about what we’ve been able to do our first year. I think we were able to prevent a lot of bad things from happening.

“I’m very proud to serve alongside a team of very conservative senators that have stood the line on things from the debt deal all the way to where we should be in our budget.

“I think moving forward if we have the opportunity to be in the majority, we’re going to have a chance to actually do some of these things, like save Medicare, like have real tax reform, like having energy policy that makes sense for the American people and helps grow our economy.”

Rubio says Romney has not asked if he would join him as a running mate. But Rubio was asked how he would respond if his joining ticket guaranteed the defeat of Obama and he was asked to serve as VP.

“I don’t think that is possible. I don’t think any vice presidential choice guarantees an election result. The race has to be won by the top of the ticket.

“I’ll do anything the nominee asks in order to win, but I don’t think that’s going to be the vice presidential nominee. I don’t think that’s going to be the choice before me, so I’m not going to be the vice presidential nominee.”

Rubio says Republicans don’t need an Hispanic on the ticket to carry the Hispanic vote in November.

“No. What we need to do is continue to be the party that believes in free enterprise, the party that believes in the legal immigration system. We are the pro-legal immigration party.

“Our illegal immigration problem has spiraled out of control. We have as conservatives allowed ourselves to be labeled as anti-immigrant. We are not an anti-immigrant party, we are the pro-legal immigration party.

“Beyond that I would say our economic message is the natural home of Hispanics all across the country. People from Latin America come here to get away from the failed economic government policies of places like Venezuela and Cuba. They come here because big government doesn’t work.”

To garner more Hispanic votes, Rubio says Republicans “need to do a better job of outlining our economic vision for the future, how we believe in individual liberties, in individual empowerment, in an economic system where anyone from anywhere, if you work hard and play by the rules and have good ideas, can accomplish anything.”

Commenting on the challenge to Obamacare before the Supreme Court, Rubio tells Newsmax: “I believe Obamacare is unconstitutional, and I expect the Supreme Court to agree with this. Whether that is what they will ultimately decide is very difficult to predict. As far as the electoral impact of it, I haven’t made that calculation.

“I do believe that Obamacare is very bad public policy on multiple fronts. Some would argue that it’s politically beneficial to let Obamacare stay in place. I would say it’s bad for our country.”

You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it.

In the darkness, you make out two shadows.

One holds something that looks like a crowbar. When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire.

The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside.

As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you're in trouble.
Most guns were outlawed years before, and the few that are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them useless..

Yours was never registere

Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has died. They arrest you for First Degree Murder and illegal Possession of a Firearm.

When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.

"What kind of sentence will I get?" you ask.  "Only ten-to-twelve years,"  He replies, as if that's nothing.

"Behave yourself, and you'll be out in seven."

The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper.
You're portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot
are represented as choirboys.

Their friends and relatives can't find an unkind word to say about them.  Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both "victims" have been arrested numerous times.

The next day's headline says it all:

"Lovable Rogue Son Didn't Deserve to Die."

The thieves have been transformed from career criminals into Robin Hood-type pranksters..

As the days wear on, the story takes wings.

The national media picks it up,
then the international media.

The surviving burglar has become a folk hero.

Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you, and he'll probably win.

The media publishes reports that your home has been burglarized several times in the past and that you've been critical of local police for their lack Of effort in apprehending the suspects.

After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you would be prepared next time.

The District Attorney uses this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars.

A few months later, you go to trial.
The charges haven't been reduced,
As your lawyer had so confidently predicted.


When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you..


Prosecutors paint a picture of you
as a mean, vengeful man.


It doesn't take long for the jury to convict you of all charges.


The judge sentences you to life in prison.


This case really happened.


On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk , England , killed one burglar and wounded a second.


In April, 2000, he was convicted
and is now serving a life term...

How did it become a crime to defend one's own life in the once great British Empire ?

It started with the Pistols Act of 1903.

This seemingly reasonable law forbade selling pistols to minors or felons and established that handgun sales were to be made only to those who had a license.

The Firearms Act of 1920 expanded licensing to include not only handguns but all firearms except shotguns..

Later laws passed in 1953 and 1967 outlawed the carrying of any weapon by private citizens and mandated the registration of all shotguns.

Momentum for total handgun confiscation began in earnest after the Hungerford mass shooting in 1987.

Michael Ryan, a mentally disturbed man with a Kalashnikov rifle, walked down the streets shooting everyone he saw.  When the smoke cleared, 17 people were dead.

The British public, already de-sensitized by eighty years of "gun control", demanded even tougher restrictions.  (The seizure of all privately owned handguns was the objective even though Ryan used a rifle.)

Nine years later, at Dunblane , Scotland,Thomas Hamilton used a semi-automatic weapon to murder 16 children and a teacher at a public school.

For many years, the media had portrayed all gun owners as mentally unstable, or worse, criminals.

Now the press had a real kook with which to beat up law-abiding gun owners. Day after day, week after week, the media gave up all pretense of objectivity and demanded a total ban on all handguns.

The Dunblane Inquiry, a few months later, sealed the fate of the few sidearms still owned by private citizens.

During the years in which the British government incrementally took away most gun rights, the notion that a citizen had the right to armed self-defense came to be seen as vigilantism.

Authorities refused to grant gun licenses to people who were threatened, claiming that self-defense was no longer considered a reason to own a gun.

Citizens who shot burglars or robbers or rapists were charged while the real criminals were released.

Indeed, after the Martin shooting, a police spokesman was quoted as saying,"We cannot have people
take the law into their own hands."

All of Martin's neighbors had been robbed numerous times, and several elderly people were severely injured
in beatings by young thugs who had no fear of the consequences.

Martin himself, a collector of antiques, had seen most of his collection trashed or stolen by burglars.

When the Dunblane Inquiry ended,
citizens who owned handguns
were given three months to turn them over to local authorities.

Being good British subjects,
most people obeyed the law.
The few who didn't were visited by police and threatened with ten-year prison sentences
if they didn't comply.

Police later bragged that they'd taken nearly 200,000 handguns from private citizens.

How did the authorities know who had handguns?  The guns had been registered and licensed.

Kind of like cars. Sound familiar?

GAME OVER - NOT ENOUGH DELEGATES LEFT for anyone but Romney to win

It's effectively "Game Over."  The numbers tell the story.

After today's vote (March 10), baring a cataclysmic change in the principles of mathematics, there are just not enough delegates left for any candidate but Romney to win the GOP nomination. Oh sure, "technically," Santorum or Gingrich "could" pull off a miracle. But the numbers are so overwhelming that it really would take a miracle.

Consider that after today, there 30 more contests yet to be held, representing a total of 1385 delegates. That means that in a best case scenario, Santorum would have to win 67% of the remaining delegates, to reach the 1144 delegate magic number. Gingrich would have to win 75% of the remaining delegates. The chances of either happening is effectively zero.

Here's the count. Do the math yourself.

3/13: AL-50, MS-40, HI-20, AS-9 (total 119)

3/17: MO-52 (total 52)

(Note: The first Missouri race was a beauty contest)

3/20: IL-69 (total 69)

3/24: LA-46 (total 46)

4/3: WI-42, MD-37, DC-19 (total 98)

4/24: NY-95, PA-72, CT-28, RI-19, DE-17 (total 231)

5/8: NC-55, IN-46, WV-31 (total 132)

5/15: NE-35, OR-28 (total 63)

5/22: KY-45, AR-36 (total 81)

5/29: TX-155 (total 155)

That's 1385 remaining delegates.

For Santorum:

1144 magic number - 217 delegates won = 927 needed

(927 / 1385 remaining) x 100 = 66.9% of remaining delegates

For Gingrich:

1144 magic number - 107 delegates won = 1,037 needed

(1,037 / 1385) x 100 = 74.9% of remaining delegates

Now I know that some Santorum and Gingrich supporters are very optimistic about their candidate's chances. But there's a big difference between optimism and believing in the Tooth Fairy.

It's easier to see what has to happen, if we reverse those numbers. For Santorum to win, Romney would have to win less than a third of the remaining delegates. So how likely is that to happen?

Well, here are the facts.

Romney has won 54.8% of all delegates that have been assigned, so far.

Romney has a greater than 10 point lead in the national polls, with 37.7% to Santorum's 27.3%.

Is there anyone who thinks that Romney's well oiled campaign will drop to less than 33% of the remaining delegates?

But it gets worse for the the second tier candidates.

Romney will win Delaware walking away - 17 winner-take-all delegates

Romney will win Washington, DC walking away - 19 winner-take-all delegates

Romney will win New Jersey walking away - 50 winner-take-all delegates

Romney will win Utah walking away - 40 winner-take-all delegates

That's 126 delegates taken out of the mix. So instead of having to win 927 delegates out of 1385, Santorum would have to win 927 delegates out of 1259 "available" delegates. Let's do math again.

(927 / 1259 "available" delegates) x 100 = 73.6% of remaining "available" delegates

But scratch that. The numbers are already so overwhelming that we don't even need to consider those Romney winner-take-all states.

But we should consider that Romney's 33% number assumes that BOTH Paul and Gingrich will drop out and it will be a two man race between Romney and Santorum. If Santorum were to drop out, and Gingrich stayed in, Romney would have to win less than 25% of the remaining delegates.

In actuality, we all know that Paul is going to stick around and he'll take another 20 to 40 delegates, before the convention, which will reduce the number of "available" delegates even further. We also know that neither Gingrich nor Santorum will drop out before next Wednesday, after 119 delegates are awarded on Tuesday. But whether or not anyone drops out, the number of "available" delegates will then drop even further.

Right now, it's looking like the leading second tier candidate, Santorum, will come in third in both Alabama and Mississippi. That's certainly no way to get to 67%.

This leads to what the media isn't saying, because they want the advertising dollars that a prolonged race will generate. You see, this means that in any race or group of races on a single day, where Santorum doesn't win by at least that minimum percentage of the delegates (currently 67%), it counts as a loss, because less than that percentage means that he's falling further behind.

So just winning a state, is no longer enough. Just winning a majority of the delegates is no longer enough. Santorum has to win at least 67% of delegates next Tuesday, in order to be closing the gap. Gingrich has to win by at least 75% of delegates on that day, in order to be closing the gap. Anything less is losing ground.

Today, Santorum won 82.5% of the delegates in Kansas. That's great. It counts as a real win for him. But he lost the day, since he only won 36 delegates (KS-33 & WY-3), while Romney won 37 (KS-7, WY-8, GU-9, MP-9, VI-4). Then add in the fact that Romney already had three super delegates from USVI that had not been counted, prior to the caucus.

This time Santorum had to win 63%, to qualify as a win. He didn't. So on Tuesday, he has to win more than 67% of the delegates, to keep from falling further behind.

If he comes in third on Tuesday, then the in the following primary, the best that he can hope for is that he'll have to win more than 70% of delegates, in order to qualify as advancing. Each time Santorum or Gingrich loses ground, like they did today and Santorum likely will on Tuesday, that necessary winning percentage goes up for the next primary.

So while there are still enough delegates left to allow one of the second tier candidates to win, in a best case miracle scenario, it's just not going to happen. And it only gets worse for the second tier candidates, with each primary, where they don't reach the advancing percentage for that race.

There just aren't enough remaining delegates for anyone but Romney to win.

Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by different laws than the citizens.  They receive full pay retirement after serving one term and many unreasonable perks of office.

 

It just does not make any sense.

 

Fox news learned that Congressional family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. 

 

Just where will all of it stop?  Here is the Constitutional answer: 38 states.

35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government

Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

This is an idea that we must address.

For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress.  

 

Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. 

 

The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. 

 

We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever.. The self-serving must stop.

Obama is not the cool, calm, and collected guy that he portrays publicly; he's far from it.  Obama is described privately as a thin-skinned hot-head when it comes to questioning his policies, or anything else, for that matter.

Though there has been a slight shift upward in Obama's poll numbers, Obama knows the real temperature of the American people.  Here are 10 indicators as to why Obama will have sleepless nights leading up to the election of 2012:

1 - Obama started African Americans for Obama.  When blacks supposedly voted at 95 percent for Obama in the last election, one has to question his motives in starting this group.  The answer is that Obama's poll numbers among blacks have fallen back to their lowest point, a clear sign that Obama is feeling the pressure.  If Obama loses his street cred amongst blacks, he will likely be abandoned by other groups. Obama must have the "race" element in 2012, even though the black vote will be much less significant in 2012.  By the way, how would the media have covered "White Americans for McCain?"

2 - Obama started a Spanish-language website.  Now, most people would call this clever; however, this move could backfire and is a pure sign that Obama knows he is in trouble.  A country that requires you to know English should not have a sitting president with a Spanish-language website.  It would seem to be pandering to the massive non-English-speaking population of Latinos.  Obama has not chosen to pander to any other potential immigrant voting bloc, which could have many Africans up in arms.  Why not develop a website in Swahili or Bantu?  Asians, Jews, and many other ethnic groups might wonder what Obama's obsession is with blacks and Latinos, while forsaking them.  This could lead to the logic that the president is supposed to be the president of all Americans.

3 - Obama's energy policy is pure comedy.  When Obama took office, gasoline averaged $1.89.  Gasoline is now at its highest point in history, averaging $3.65 a gallon -- and it's getting higher.  When gas crested at $3 a gallon under Bush, Democrats were quick to put Bush in cahoots with the oil companies.  Obama and other Democrats are blaming Wall Street, offering that high gas prices are "bringing families closer together" or that high gas prices are "saving lives."  Nice try.  The problem with gas prices is that they affect the lower end of the food chain the most.  Poor people have to plan trips to the supermarket or buy gas in parts of a gallon.  "I'll have ½ a gallon."  Obama touts green energy, but he has not had a single successful example where his policy has worked, and despite the Truth Teams, Obama has wasted billions on "green" energy while people are suffering from a lack of "black" energy -- oil and coal.

4 - Obama now supports super-PACs.  Aside from the multitude of flip-flops or blatant "untruths," Obama has now decided that for the good of the country, he must embrace the idea of "buying his next election."  I suggest that Obama has forgotten that he bought his first election, and that took everything he had, despite a weakening economy, hatred of Bush, and a less than stellar Republican candidate.  Obama vowed to raise $1B in order to fight the right, and his newfound support of super-PACs only proves that he's panicked about raising money and about what he will have to spend to put the genie -- his record -- back in the bottle.

5 - Obama has feigned shifting right.  When a bona fide socialist begins talk of shifting right, you know he's panicked.  Obama no more believes in the private-sector solutions for the economy than he believes that Rosie O'Donnell would skip a meal.  Yet he is suddenly offering to cut business taxes.  Welcome to Panderville.  Many of Obama's panic moves will showcase the complete hypocrisy of what he campaigned on or truly believes, and how far he is willing to go to remain in power.

6 - Obama began the Truth Teams, dismantling Attack Watch.  Renaming Attack Watch is like renaming the Department of War the Defense Department.  Attack Watch was a dismal failure, because the truth is not an attack.  Renaming Attack Watch "Truth Team" now allows Obama to stamp out the truth wherever it may occur.  Obama is deathly afraid of the unvarnished truth.  The Truth Team's assignment is to varnish it.  So now Obama was for Keystone XL and the 20,000 jobs that it didn't create.  High gas prices are good for the economy in the form of higher revenues and more lives saved, due to less driving.  Welfare is good for the economy, actually generating $1.85 return for every $1 spent.  That's the truth, and they're sticking with it.

7 - Obama is changing his slogan.  Realizing that "Yes We Can" has turned into "Well, I Thought We Could," and that "hope and change" now applies to getting rid of him, Obama must adjust his catchphrases.  Obama's handlers are testing various new sayings, but the bad news is that nothing is sticking.  The new phrases being tested are "Winning the Future," "Greater Together," and "We Don't Quit," and Obama has begun lacing these in his speeches, but none are resonating, which is why Obama is panicking.

8 - Obama's foreign policy strategy is in shambles.  Generally when a president has such a weak domestic agenda, he may be able to recover based on decent foreign policy.  This is not the case with Obama.  Obama's foreign policy has made America weak and the laughingstock of the world.  It was said when Obama was elected that the world would love us, which has proven simply not the case.  Obama has revealed himself to be much worse than Bush in foreign policy, and he has created havoc all over North Africa and the Middle East.  China and Russia are positioning to remove the dollar as the international monetary standard, which would devastate the U.S. economy.  Their recent decision not to support the U.S. in the U.N. with respect to Syria proves that the Obama administration is not taken seriously.  Foreign policy will be a huge influence on Obama's re-election chances, which is why he will try about anything to shore things up before November.

9 - Obama is talking tough.  As the saying goes, the shallower the stream, the louder the babble.  Most people recognize that the bigmouth at the bar is far from the toughest, yet Obama all but guaranteed that he will serve "five more years" while on a Spanish-language radio program.  It is difficult to balance tough talk with "It's Bush's fault."  Further, Obama's constant and incessant apologies (and bowing) don't jibe with the tough talk.  Again, this is a strategy that will likely backfire for Obama, as most people have begun to realize that the tough talker is generally weak, and Obama is no exception.

10 - There is no real improvement in any sector in America.  Obama's biggest problem is that the economy is being held together with paperclips and Band-Aids.  The fragile nature of things does not bode well, so even the slightest uptick in inflation will wreak havoc on the deficit.  The prospect for jobs will not improve between now and the election, so the media is the only potential distraction from real unemployment north of 15 percent.  Another budget crisis is looming, and most of Obama's policies are under attack in multiple states.

Obama has much to be concerned about, despite being "The Money-Giver" to the poor.  Americans have reached the end, and words just won't cut it.  Further, Americans have tired of style and want substance.  I believe that the new bumper stickers might be "You Had Your Chance!"

Rush Limbaugh has now apologized to Sandra Fluke for his comments about her.   The apology, even if accepted by Fluke, will not be enough for his far left wing critics who are doing their best to make sponsors pull out from his show.

The problem here is not the apology or even the names he called Fluke.  What is the problem?

To use a baseball analogy, the left threw Rush a split finger fastball.  The split finger is a great pitch as the batter thinks it is a very hittable pitch.  He swings at the ball and about the time he does, the ball dives toward the dirt, leaving the batter with nothing but a swing and a miss.

Rush Limbaugh is one of the best batters in the political media.  Usually there is no way he would go for one of these.  But a pitch occasionally fools even the best hitters and that is what happened here.

The issue for the Party of Treason and the far left was to change the narrative. 

The story had been the Obama Regime’s order that Catholic institutions violate their religious beliefs and act against some of their basic dogma.

As long as this story was [as it was] - the Obama regime violating one of the basic foundations of our Nation, freedom of religion, the regime lost.  The left needed to change the narrative.

Sandra Fluke is a professional activist.  She is not the 23-year-old student as it was originally represented.  She is 30 or 31 and she has spent several years working her way through the feminist establishment.   By her own admission, she decided to go to law school at Georgetown, a Catholic school, for the expressed purpose of forcing them to change their position on providing contraception and abortion services to women who receive health insurance through the college.

When Darryl Issa refused to let her testify at a Capitol Hill hearing on this subject, Nancy Pelosi and the Party of Treason decided to stage political theater and had her at a hearing as the only witness.

The hearing was staged political theater with the hope that conservatives would swing at the ball and Rush did.

At the hearing, Fluke did not say she spent $3,000 on contraception.  She came up with the bogus claim that, “Without insurance coverage, contraception can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school.”  While the conservative blogosphere took that silly statement apart, the lap dog liberal media accepted it as gospel.

The rest of Fluke’s ‘testimony’ was full of BS stories about unnamed friends who composed every feminist victimhood group that could be thought of.  There was her unnamed lesbian friend who needed birth control pills for an ovarian disorder.  Then there was the unnamed ‘rape victim’ would not go to a doctor after allegedly being raped because she thought STD testing would not be covered by the insurance.  

Then there was the unnamed married woman who had to drop contraception because it was too expensive.

Honestly the bovine scatology was running so deep here surely the carpets of the Congressional hearing room needed to be steam cleaned when she was finished.   Fluke is missing her true calling and should instead be marketing her works of fiction to New York publishers.

The left laid the perfect trap.  The story she gave was total crap.  Sometimes you learn if a target is too easy, you pass on it. [OR IS IT – PISS ON IT ?!]

This was one of those cases.

Fluke went out and took one for the team.  Now she is a feminazi superstar.  Unfortunately this has also changed the narrative from one of religious liberty to one of the ‘right’ to contraception.  Thanks to the change of narrative, those who stand up to the Obama regime are not standing up for religious liberty, we are oppressing women.

Had we all simply ignored Sandra Fluke, she would have quietly gone back to Georgetown and continued to work her way through to become another radical feminazi lawyer.

Instead, we have managed to create a new leftist celebrity.
